The Joy of Art Studio

Private Gallery

The Joy of Art Studio is the private gallery exhibiting artworks by two entities of different genre, distinct yet unified, independent yet reliant.

Solo Exhibit by William Kent

William is currently gearing up for a solo exhibit especially designed to entertain using a theme not ever seen before. The exhibit will be comprised of 20 contemporary artworks 1100 x 1100 mm and crated for secure transport between galleries – enough to fill any gallery space.

Why? Stumbling upon what had to be the ‘most nothing’ exhibit that William has ever to seen in all his travels – he saw a gallery screaming for a worthwhile exhibit. How and why such a collection of garbage was the main exhibit in such a fabulous art space is not relevant – there are a lot of real art galleries in need of worthwhile exhibits.

The theme-  a bold statement in monochrome. Featuring twenty large-scale, white-on-white panels—including the triptych ‘Plagiarism’ and the six-meter panorama ‘The Rhythm of Life’—the show is a quiet revolt against visual noise. It is a testament to a life spent mastering not just the art of creation, but the very foundations upon which it is built.
